Ah, nostalgia! Angela Anaconda is one of those niche shows that only appeared on air for a couple of seasons before seemingly disappearing into the void forever.

The children's show appeared on television from 1999–2001 for 65 episodes. It followed an animated 8-year-old girl named Angela. She is joined by her friends and siblings. Together, they navigate a variety of situations and are opposed by several antagonists.

Who's face was used for Angela Anaconda?

Angela's animation was unique in that her freckled face was modeled off a real person. While it was artistic and drawn in some ways, it also incorporated very real features.

An actor named Jasmine Ellis was the face model behind the character for both the original short and the television series thereafter. Jasmine went on to have a brief career in the industry.

She played Lauren Parker in Horace & Tina and Lisa Hanssen in Master Spy: The Robert Hanssen Story. However, after 2001, her acting career fell off and she ventured into something new.

By 2011, she started dabbling in directing, starting with a short called Plan B. She took on more shorts later — Cargo, Is Susan Lonely? and Fringe. According to her IMDb, she "works with Bad Posture Productions a German-based group dedicated to making movement-based films."

'Angela Anaconda' reportedly caused a kids parents' to get divorced.

In a strange turn of events, a family crumbled as a result of the television show. A Twitter user shade an old post from the depths of the internet detailing the events.

The kid, all grown up now, said that they "didn't know" that their parents' relationship was "rocky." They asked with desperation to go see the Digimon movie, an off-shoot of the television show.

Their parents agreed to go but the child didn't realize that part of the reason they wanted to go to the theater was to spend some time together. At first, everything seems to be going well, they even get some concessions.

However, the movie ends up being a disaster. They started to get confused about what was going on and their parents weren't able to help because they didn't speak great English.

The child began to cry, so they left the theater where their parents began fighting and blaming each other for the disastrous outing. Their dad even threw popcorn at their mother.

As a result of the fight, they decide to leave, but they're in a total rush. Their dad speeds out of the parking lot and ends up in an accident. According to the post, their dad moved out only a month after the incident. They added that Angela "ruined [their] life."

Who are the characters of 'Angela Anaconda'?

Angela Anaconda might star the namesake child, but there is a full cast of characters. Her best friends are Johnny Abbati, Gina Lash, and Gordy Rhinehart.

However, there are also some people working against her like stuck-up Nanette Manoir and her teacher Mrs. Ephigenia Brinks. The show features some guest and reoccurring characters, too.
