Alex Hall Is Dating the Global Marketing Director of TikTok — Who Is That?

The stars of Selling the OC get plenty of juice out of their romantic lives, and lately, many have been fixated in particular on Alex Hall's romantic drama. Following a flirtation with Tyler Stanaland that didn't wind up working as an actual relationship, many are now wondering what her current love life is looking like.

Alex says that she's dating the global marketing director at TikTok, which led many people to try and figure out exactly who she's talking about. Here's what we know about Alex's new beau, and what she's said about him.

During the third season of Selling the OC, Alex said that she was in a relationship with a TikTok executive. We never see him on the show, so many wondered whether she was telling the truth, and who she might have been referring to.

Alex said that he was a "global marketing director" at TikTok, and many people pointed out that that title likely applied to many different people inside an organization as vast as TikTok.

Thanks to sleuths on the internet, though, many people believe that she is dating a Brit named Freddy Ketchum. Freddy's Instagram is private, but he has appeared in Alex's Instagram Stories, and People posted a photo of the two of them kissing.

Based on his LinkedIn profile, it seems that he is actually an Accounts Executive instead of a marketing director, which means he likely works trying to find advertisers who want to advertise on TikTok.

Although Alex seems to be currently dating Freddy, and the two of them seem to be quite happy with one another, many Selling the OC fans are still trying to recover from her connection with her co-star Tyler Stanaland. Tyler was married to actress Brittany Snow through the show's early seasons, but fans clocked that the two had a close bond even before Brittany filed for divorce in 2023.

In spite of their ongoing connection, Alex has insisted that she and Tyler are just friends.

“I think people really want to hold onto that idea that there's something there between Tyler and [I]. I mean, at this point, we're just friends, so there's nothing more to it," she told People.

Alex also said that Tyler had leaned on his close friends as he was working through the divorce. She added that she didn't think their friendship had any real role on the divorce.

"I don't think that mine and Tyler's friendship had any contribution to his divorce. Tyler is a grown man and Brittany is a grown woman," she explained.

"I think that people need to understand there was a life that they had way before Tyler started filming and long before him and I ever became friends," she added.

Now, it seems Alex is engaged in a relationship of her own with someone outside the Oppenheim Group, which may lead to a little less drama than a show romance.
