Filming for Season 2 of 'Perfect Match' Commenced Following This Contestant's Messy Breakup (SPOILERS)

Season 2 of Netflix's hit reality dating series, Perfect Match, sends various singles from the streaming service's other reality shows to a tropical oasis with one task at hand: Find your perfect match. Or, as some contestants seem to be doing, find someone you can at least fake it with for the sake of advancing in the competition!
The second season includes the likes of Too Hot to Handle star Harry Jowsey, Love Is Blind contestant Jessica Vestal, The Trust: A Game of Greed cast member Tolú Ekundare, Perfect Match Season 1 winner Dom Gabriel, and more.
As we gear up for this enticing and emotionally charged experience, curiosity arises about when the cast came together to film the season. So, when exactly was Season 2 of Perfect Match filmed? Here's what we know.
When was Season 2 of 'Perfect Match' filmed?
At the time of writing, Netflix has not disclosed when Season 2 of Perfect Match was filmed. However, on Aug. 15, 2023, reality TV blogger Zachary Reality took to X (formerly known as Twitter) and revealed that filming for Season 2 had commenced in Mexico.
Now, based on clues from the show, our speculation aligns with filming likely occurring in the summer of 2023. In the first episode, Harry Jowsey's arrival sparks immediate gossip among the ladies. When talking about the Aussie, the girls mention that Harry's breakup with Season 1 co-winner Georgia Hassarati "just went public."
Further reinforcing this timeline, in June 2023, Georgia confirmed she was single. Just one month later, the situation between the former couple took a messy turn.
On July 19, Harry made a guest appearance on the hit podcast Call Her Daddy and alleged that Georgia cheated on him with multiple guys.
A little more than a week later, on July 30, Georgia vehemently denied her ex-boyfriend's cheating allegations in a three-part TikTok series. The fellow Aussie also shared her own accusations, claiming that it was Harry who had been unfaithful to her.
The first six episodes of Perfect Match Season 2 are now streaming on Netflix. Episodes 7-9 will release on June 14, followed by the 10th and final episode on June 21.
