Victor Alli Is Charming 'Bridgerton' Fans With His Silent Flirting Skills — Is He Single?

Season 3 of Bridgerton has invited fans back into the ostentatious world of lavish parties, magnificent outfits, a seemingly endless amount of tiny pies and cakes, and of course love. The wildly popular Netflix show (based on the series of books by the same name) takes the saying "Out with the old and in with the new" very seriously as we are forced to forget last season's horny couples in order to focus on the current season's impassioned matches.

You know what else they say? Still waters run deep. And for Francesca (Hannah Dodd) and Lord John Stirling (Victor Alli), they are calm and quiet. However, under the cool currents of a flirtation that is built upon a mutual enjoyment of silence and music, Francesca and Victor have connected in a way we haven't yet seen on the show. Is actor Victor Alli pulling from his own experiences? Let's take a look at his dating life.

Although Victor isn't new to the acting game, he has managed to keep his personal life, well, personal. In interviews, people respectfully avoid asking him about his relationship status, and in turn, Victor has chosen to keep that aspect of his life to himself. As of the time of this writing, there are 44 posts on his Instagram page, the bulk of which are devoted to art in various mediums. Not to sound prudish, but it's refreshing to see an actor leave a little mystery instead of oversharing into oblivion.

While chatting with L'OFFICIEL in May 2024, Victor did give folks a glimpse into what he was like as a child. "I was quite mischievous growing up," he said. "I wasn't naughty, I was just mischievous. I was like the class clown. I received many detentions." There is a pretty easy pipeline from class clown to actor, and Victor managed to find it beautifully. In fact, it was his bad-boy persona that got him his first acting job when a teacher overseeing detention asked him to fill in for a school play.

Outside of acting, Victor told Flanelle Magazine that he has a plethora of interests. We here at DreamDive do not encourage turning a parasocial relationship into an actual friendship; however, Victor did tell the outlet that on a monthly basis he can be found at "Ronnie Scott’s, sipping a Negroni and listening to the sweet, sweet tones of a jazz band." When he's not taking in a show, Victor can be found breathing in art. He might even get there on a bicycle as he is an avid cyclist.

Like anyone who has stepped into the role of an adapted character, Victor did not want to disappoint the fans. He was very aware of the fact that those who have read the books already have an idea of who his character is. It was quite a lot to consider. What didn't help is when Victor read fan websites devoted to who they would cast. He said to himself, "Oh, man, it's me that's playing him and not Henry Cavill."

Thankfully Victor was able to rely on the cast who have already been through what he might be dealing with. "I feel way more confident now having done this season," he shared with L'OFFICIEL. Regarding what he has in common with his character, Lord John Stirling, Victor was able to see some parts of himself. He describes John as shy, but only around those he doesn't know, and also caring, thoughtful, and charming. From what we've read, Victor is all of the above and we can't wait to see how his character unfolds on the show!
