In May 2024, Bravo reportedly paused filming a new season of Vanderpump Rules, Bravo fans are now wondering if VPR's spinoff, The Valley, will be returning for Season 2.

The new series has been very successful, with moments that will go down in Bravo history.

The series stars VPR alums Jax Taylor, Brittany Cartwright, and Kristen Doute.

And the drama hasn't stopped when it comes to these three. The marital issues between Jax and his now-estranged wife Brittany have been front and center alongside other major issues within the cast.

Luckily, we know there will be a Season 2 of The Valley and DreamDive spoke exclusively with Andy Cohen at his Fresca Mixed Happy Hour in NYC about what fans can expect.

Andy Cohen says 'The Valley' Season 2 renewal could include more 'Vanderpump Rules' stars.

Thanks to all of the drama and multiple "to be continued" episodes of The Valley, Bravo rolled out another banger that fans immediately took to. And on May 9, 2024, Bravo announced that the show had been renewed for Season 2.

However, fans shouldn't expect a reunion special to end the season, like with most other Bravo shows.

The good news, however, is that The Valley was reported to begin filming in the summer of 2024, which is when VPR typically films.

So, we might get a second season sooner than we think. The Valley isn't set to have any major cast changes despite some divorce announcements.

Andy couldn't give too much casting news away, but he shared his opinions on any further crossovers from former SUR employees. When asked if any VPR stars will come on the spinoff to play with their real-life pals, Andy said anything is possible in Lisa Vanderpump's universe.

"I see any of them on there," Andy said of what The Valley cast could look like in Season 2. "They all live in the Valley; they all know each other. It all makes sense."

Andy said 'Vanderpump Rules' needed to go on hiatus to "take a minute."

Scandoval undoubtedly took a toll on the entire VPR cast, and they began filming immediately after the news of the affair broke. Andy shared on his show, Radio Andy, that a break will be good for the cast.

The idea is that they will all be in different places when the cameras decide to start rolling again.

The Watch What Happens Live host also told DreamDive that fans shouldn't be alarmed by the hiatus, stating production "raced" to get the cameras back rolling before everyone was ready.

"It's not uncommon for us to take a minute and just give them space to breathe and see what happens," Andy said. "So I wouldn't read too much into it.”

Watch The Valley on Tuesdays at 9 p.m. EST on Bravo.
