What's the Deal With 'Summer House' Season 9? Here's Everything We Know so Far

The eighth season of Summer House was one of the best to date, with the reunion special being the icing on the cake. Truths were revealed both on screen and off screen, and fans began doing their best detective work thanks to rumors of infidelity outside of Summer House filming.

Season 8 was rife with interpersonal drama, from engagement problems, businesses, health scares, and even newfound romance. With such a jam-packed season, Bravo viewers fans are thirsty for more.

Summer House first premiered in January 2017 and was well received almost immediately. In addition to the faces that viewers are now currently used to, the original cast featured Cristina Gibson, Stephen McGee, Jaclyn Shuman, Everett Weston, Ashley Wirkus, and Lauren Wirkus. Since then, other cast members have come and gone, and after such an excellent eighth season, fans are hoping the cast finds the consistency it seems to have been seeking. Luckily, they may get their wish: Here is what's known about Summer House's ninth season so far.

In an exclusive interview with Danielle Olivera, UsWeekly reports that filming for Season 9 will begin in July 2024. The focus of the interview naturally surrounded the relationship between Carl Radke and Lindsay Hubbard, as it was the most tumultuous. Carl publicly ended their relationship while filming and subsequently canceled the wedding. They had a lot of problems, so everyone was relieved when they shared that the wedding and relationship were both finished. So, who is returning next season?

Season 8 featured Amanda Batula, Kyle Cooke, Carl Radke, Ciara Miller, Lindsay Hubbard, Danielle Olivera, Paige DeSorbo, Gabby Prescod, Jesse Solomon, and West Wilson. Will they all return for Season 9? Right now it's unclear, but this would be great because the issues from the previous season could hopefully be addressed next season. And both Carl and Jesse have talked about wanting to return. The next question now is: When will Season 9 premiere?

As of right now, the network has not released a premiere date for the new season, but it seems pretty safe to say that it will happen in the winter of 2025. Season 8 premiered on Feb. 22, 2024, while prior seasons have bounced back and forth between the months of January and February. If the cast all returns, it will be great to see what all will carry over from the previous season. Thanks to the reunion special, West has had a huge fall from grace due to his reaction to Ciara's tears in Part 1.
