Craig Conover Talks 'Southern Charm’ Season 10 and Dream Bravo Houseguests (EXCLUSIVE)

Season 9 of Southern Charm ended in January 2024 and was a tumultuous journey filled with unexpected developments. From the intricacies of the Olivia Flowers, Austen Kroll, and Taylor Ann Green drama to devastating losses, the ninth season has undeniably left its mark.

As expected, Southern Charm fans were eager to discover whether a 10th season is on the horizon. Bravo confirmed in May 2024 that the milestone season was happening and began filming in early 2024. During Southern Charm’s filming for Season 10, DreamDive exclusively spoke to one of the cast members who has been with the show from day one: Craig Conover.

While discussing his partnership with Heluva Good! Dip for their Sunsational Table Giveaway, Craig shared details on shooting the upcoming Southern Charm season, his plans for the summer, and which Bravolebrity always has a seat at his hosting table.

Since Southern Charm fans first met Craig in Season 1, he’s been known for hosting memorable parties. Many recall him kicking Leva Bonaparte out of his Christmas party in the show’s Season 8 finale. As the series prepares for its tenth season, Craig will host more events that will hopefully be less dramatic.

The Southern Charm vet told DreamDive he was “at the tail end” of filming Season 10. A few days later, Queens of Bravo confirmed filming wrapped for the season.

Craig said he’s “excited” to show how much he and the cast “evolve” as it returns to the network. He said some of the issues from Season 9, including conversations about Craig’s decision to cut back on drinking, will be “interesting stuff” to see in the new season.

Craig also reflected on having longevity on Bravo in an age where cast shakeups have become commonplace.

“When Shep [Rose] and I started, we didn't know anything about this world,” Craig explained. “I was in my law class, and my second year, and I was Googling, like, ‘Should I do a reality show or not?’”

“That was a decade ago, and going into this new chapter of TV, I think we're all in the same boat,” he continued. “You know, viewers, cast members, crew members, producers, like we don't know what, what's next. But I think we're excited to evolve and share more of our lives. I'm not the same person I was 11 years ago.”

With Southern Charm’s Season 10 filming behind him, Craig told us he’s looking forward to the rest of his summer. In June 2024, the Charleston-based entrepreneur opened another store in Nashville, Tenn., for his clothing business, Sewing Down South.

He and his girlfriend, Summer House star Paige DeSorbo, also plan to “balance” their hectic traveling schedules and host their loved ones at their stunning home in Charleston. Craig told us a significant reason for building his home the way he did: to have parties for his family around his pool with chips, Heluva Good! Dip and his Sunsational Dip Table.

He shared that doing so takes him back to his childhood and is something he’s grateful to recreate as an adult.

“My mom would always have like, chips and dip out, and the friends and cousins would be over,” Craig recalled. “And that's kind of how I like to do my house here. Because we're on the road so much.”

In addition to his BFF Shep Rose and other Southern Charm co-stars, Craig told us his home is always open for his fellow Bravolebrities. He mentioned Housewives stars Sonja Morgan, Lisa Barlow, and Marlo Hampton among the network's stars, telling us he and Marlo “have a nice friendship.”

Craig also said Vanderpump Rules stars Tom Schwartz and Stassi Schroeder are welcome to enjoy chips and dip whenever they choose. Although she’s not on Bravo (yet), he said a gathering isn’t complete without a hosting legend.

“I'd love to invite Martha Stewart down,” Craig said. “Just to see if she could give me some hosting tips.”
