Bridget, a professional firefighter and dedicated "girl mom," has taken TikTok by storm with a bizarre yet hilarious video that showcased a rather odd dining experience. Known on TikTok as @thelifeofbee_, Bridget posted a video titled "Does anyone know why our panda express is making this noise?!" — which has shot up to 1.3 million views, leaving users on the platform laughing, scratching their heads, and questioning their dining decisions.

In the video, Bridget opens up directly to the camera, recounting the odd incident: “Gabby and I are having the weirdest experience with our dinner. We got Panda Express for dinner. And Gabby was taking a bite out of her food. And she hears a noise coming from her food. But sure as s---, there was a noise coming out of her Panda Express. Out of the chicken. There was a noise coming out of it.”

Intrigued by the sound, Bridget decided to record the chicken and share it with her audience. She urged viewers, “Turn your volume all the way up and you guys will hear what I'm talking about. It's coming out of a piece of chicken,” before bursting into laughter. The video showed the chicken making an unusual crackling or clapping noise, leaving Gabby confused and asking her mother, “Why are you laughing?”

The TikTok community, as it does, was quick to respond, with many offering their thoughts and theories. A user who claims to be a professional chef commented, “I'm a professional chef and I'm weirded out.” Another viewer offered a plausible explanation, suggesting, “Hot grease bubbling inside is my guess or heat or steam trying to escape.”

There was also a theory about the food preparation process: “It was probably a piece of baking soda that wasn't mixed properly in the breading and is reacting to the acids in the sauce.” Adding a whisper of humor, another user quipped, “This makes me so happy I’m a vegetarian LOL.”

This incident not only provided a good laugh but also sparked a dialogue about dining choices and dietary preferences. With more people exploring plant-based diets, Panda Express has expanded its menu to cater to vegans and vegetarians.

For those interested in vegan dining at Panda Express, there are several options available. The Beyond The Original Orange Chicken, made with Beyond Meat, offers a plant-based version of their popular dish. Another nice option is the Eggplant Tofu, which combines tofu, eggplant, and red bell peppers in a spicy sauce.

According to a Gallup study, while only 4 percent of Americans identify as vegetarians and 1 percent as vegans, the demand for plant-based options is steadily increasing. This growing trend has led fast-food chains like Panda Express to diversify their menus and include more options that cater to these dietary needs.

As more people become interested in plant-based eating, the availability of vegan options at fast-food restaurants helps to make these diets more accessible and enjoyable. Whether you are looking to try something new or committed to a vegan lifestyle, Panda Express offers a variety of choices that align with these dietary preferences.
