"Kitty" Definitely Has Two Separate Meanings in a New Viral TikTok Video

Wherever you fall on the question of whether TikTok is a good or bad thing for the world, what is almost undoubtedly true is that it is a very weird place. The things that go viral on the platform sometimes make sense, but other times, the videos are even crazier than you likely could have anticipated.

Recently, a video from TikTok user usergosd7n01yj was posted that purports to show off her "new nails and my kitty." As anyone who has seen the video quickly discovered, though, the contents of the video were not as safe for work as they may have anticipated.

In the video, the user in question shows off her new nails and then pans the camera over to show off her cat. If you're not paying close attention, that may be all that you notice about the video, and it's also exactly what the video title would lead you to suspect is in the video. Before we explain exactly what the video contains, though, it's worth understanding exactly what it is that this trend is building upon.

This specific video builds on the new nails trend that has been circulating on TikTok for some time now. The trend involves women showing off their new nails, even as their hand hovers over their boyfriend or partner's crotch region in a way that hints at the outline of their genitalia. The boyfriend is often wearing loose clothing, but the videos are definitely on the more explicit end of TikTok's content anyway.

In her video, usergosd7n01yj decided to up the ante even more by giving the viewers of her video a peek at her own genitalia for a brief moment as she's showing off your nails. It's the kind of thing that's easy to miss, but as soon as you know it's there, you won't be able to focus on anything else. By adding a "kitty" to the new nails trend, this TikTok user gave a whole new meaning to it.

While this video has gone viral in large part because it freaked so many people out, some TikTok users did some further explanation and discovered that this is not the first time this particular user has done this. There's another video in which she briefly shows her bare chest in the reflection of a bathroom faucet. Whatever this particular niche is, she seems to have done a very good job of cornering.

As of June 13, though, the account was deleted from TikTok. At this point, it's not clear how the account wound up being deleted. It's possible that TikTok's moderators flagged it and had it taken down, or that it was deleted by the person behind it after the videos started getting too much attention. Whatever actually happened, though, everyone will remember seeing those new nails and that kitty for some time to come.
