Morgan Spurlock was married three times and each marriage ending in divorce.

Morgan was married to Priscilla Sommer from 1996 until 2003. This marriage didn’t produce any children.

Morgan married Alex Jamieson in 2006. You might recognize Alex from her role in Super Size Me or Morgan's follow-up. The couple had a son, Laken James Spurlock, on Dec. 9, 2006. Morgan’s 2008 documentary Where in the World Is Osama bin Laden? is dedicated to Laken. Morgan finds out Alex is pregnant in the film and Laken is born via an underwater birth in the picture.

Morgan has been mostly out of the spotlight since 2017.

Following Morgan’s death, many wanted to better understand his disappearance from public life. In December 2017, Morgan admitted on Twitter that he had sexually harassed a former assistant. He also admitted to being unfaithful to every partner he ever had, his wives included. Morgan said that he was accused of sexual assault in college. Morgan stepped down from his television production company soon after his Twitter confessions.

Super Size Me 2: Holy Chicken! T was Morgan's final film in 2017. The documentary was supposed to be widely released via YouTube Red after its September 2017 premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival. After the December 2017 revelations, the film was dropped by YouTube Red and pulled from the 2018 Sundance Film Festival.
