'Street Outlaws' Star Lizzy Musi Passes Away At Age 33 After Battle With Cancer

If you are a drag racing fan, then you know all about the late Street Outlaws star Lizzy Musi, who, along with her father Pat Musi, was a well-known figure in the world of motorsports, particularly in drag racing.

In April 2023, Lizzy announced that she had been diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer. Needless to say, fans were stunned by the devastating news and rallied around for support.

In July 2023, Lizzy gave fans a hopeful update via Instagram, sharing that her tumors had decreased in size and there was no progression. However, nearly a year later, on June 27, 2024, her father announced on Facebook that Lizzy had passed away. She was 33. Here's everything we know about Lizzy's condition.

After being diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer in 2023, her father Pat shared an update on his daughter's health on a May 2023 episode of The Wes Buck Show.

“It’s a tough time. The diagnosis was a tough time,” Pat said. “I’m in constant contact with Lizzy and her feelings. The doctors are telling us to stay focused and keep doing what you do. They’re encouraging her to go to Columbus, so we are going to Columbus.”

Lizzy began documenting a bit of her story and even shared a clip of her then-fiancé Kye Kelley giving her a buzz cut in early June 2023. We cannot imagine how tough and draining this process must have been, with so many flooded feelings and emotions, but we (and her fans), knew that our girl Lizzy was a fighter and would continue to keep her chin up in spite of the downsides of this life.

Lizzy didn't let her battle with cancer stop her from enjoying life. Her last race was in April 2024, as she proudly shared on Instagram. Despite the challenges of chemotherapy and managing her disease, she never showed her struggles, always maintaining her positive spirit on social media.

While things seemed to be looking up for Lizzy, her condition appeared to worsen in May 2024. She posted a photo of flowers on Instagram with a message attached that read, "In my prayers every day, you got this!!! Mikey." This seems to be the last update Lizzy shared with fans before her unfortunate passing.

On June 27, 2024, Lizzy's father, Pat, took to Facebook to announce Lizzy had been "called to heaven." He wrote, "Surrounded by her Family, in the comfort of her own home, Lizzy was called to heaven at 11:25 pm tonight. Thank you for all the prayers and support throughout her battle."

His message continued, "At this time, the family would like to have time to process, [grieve] and make arrangements in peace. we will give an update as soon as we have information to share."
