There are some Bravo shows that stand the test of time, and it's hard to imagine a future without Vanderpump Rules in it. However, after the Season 11 finale premiered, it looks like the show is closer than ever to permanently going off the air. So, is Vanderpump Rules ending after Season 11 or will it be back and better than ever after a longer-than-usual hiatus?

Ahead of the Season 11 finale, during which the final moments offered some major drama between nearly everyone, Bravo announced plans to delay filming for Season 12. That doesn't necessarily mean the series is ending for good. However, in the season finale, there is a montage of scenes from the early and more recent days of the show that make it seem like the opposite is true. And fans are worried.

Is 'Vanderpump Rules' ending?

Fans shouldn't be too worried as it doesn't look like Lisa Vanderpump's Bravo baby is going anywhere any time soon. DreamDive's Elizabeth Randolph-Montgomery caught up with Andy Cohen who confirmed Vanderpump Rules isn't ending.

He explained that the cast and crew needed some extra time off after "racing" to film Season 11. “We kind of raced into production this season. And it's not uncommon for us to take a minute and just give 'em [the cast] space to breathe and see what happens. So I wouldn't read too much into it.”

But there is still the possibility that it could see a total revamp from the time the finale aired until new episodes begin to film — whenever that may be.

The final scenes of the Season 11 finale show some of the crowning moments from the show, from Katie Maloney and Tom Schwartz's wedding and one of their more explosive fights on a group trip to shots of Lala Kent and James Kennedy breaking down early in the series.

There are also shots of all of the current Vanderpump Rules stars during what looks like their first talking head interviews on the show. And, regardless of how you feel about some of the show's stars, it's hard not to get nostalgic for the simpler times when it comes to this series.

But, between the montage of the younger versions of the cast and a voiceover from Tom Sandoval about being seen as a human being by his former friends, we can certainly understand why fans think it's a wrap for the series.

Maybe Bravo producers wanted to make sure that the Season 11 finale ended in a way to close out the show as a whole, should Season 12 remain on the back burner for longer than expected. Given the unprecedented break in filming, that seems like a logical reason for the emotional Season 11 ending.

Did Ariana Madix quit 'Vanderpump Rules' in the Season 11 finale?

In the final scenes of the Season 11 finale, Ariana insists on leaving the Kyle Chan event instead of speaking with Sandoval. A producer urges Ariana to stay and tells her that she doesn't want to end things like this. Lala even vents to some of the show's other stars that by leaving, Ariana isn't being as authentic as everyone else has been.

But Ariana hasn't shared anything outside of the show about quitting Vanderpump Rules. Yes, she has a busy schedule, thanks to her hosting gig for Love Island. But a break from Vanderpump Rules might be what everyone needs to recharge their batteries, gain some clarity, and resume filming with more peace in mind.

Seasons 1 through 11 of Vanderpump Rules are now available to stream on Bravo.
