Malika Haqq Is a Close Friend of the Kardashian Family — but How Close Is She To Rob?

Even though The Kardashians is different in some ways from its predecessor, Keeping Up With the Kardashians, some of the longtime friends of the family are part of the Hulu series. Like Malika Haqq, who most longtime friends of the Kardashian-Jenner family remember as Khloé Kardashian's good friend for years. She was also close to Rob Kardashian back in the day.

So when Malika appeared in a Season 5 episode of The Kardashians and Khloé jokingly approached Rob about letting Malika use him as a sperm donor, it made fans wonder about if Malika and Rob ever dated. It would almost make less sense if they haven't ever been in a relationship. Especially during the days of Khloé & Lamar, when Rob lived with his sister and was a central cast member to one of the family's reality shows.

During the days of KUWTK, which is what a lot of fans like to reminisce about more often than not, Rob and Malika were never shy about openly flirting with each other. But as far as actually dating, they were never in a serious relationship. If Rob and Malika had been in an actual relationship, chances are, viewers would have heard all about it.

Despite never seriously dating each other, Malika and Rob did hook up at least once. Khloé even mentions that on The Kardashians when she calls Rob to ask him about supplying sperm so Malika could have another child without the pressure of finding a new guy to have a baby with. Although Khloé tells Rob, "you guys already slept together," it isn't enough to get him on board with fathering the longtime family friend's second child.

Malika dated rapper O.T. Genasis for a couple of years before they broke things off in 2019. Malika explained on KUWTK at the time that they were just at different points in their lives. However, they do share one child together, their son Ace. And, while Malika does want to have another baby and even visited a sperm bank to look into finding a donor, it doesn't look like she has any other kids just yet.

For the Kar-Jenner fans who still follow the family both on and off reality TV, all hope is not lost on getting Malika and Rob together. Well, sort of. It doesn't look like Malika is dating anyone right now, at least not seriously. Maybe someday, she and Rob will get the timing right to be together as more than friends or in a more serious capacity than a one night fling.

Fans can dream, right?
