Kylie Jenner and Jordyn Woods Reconnect: "People Know That We're Cool"

It's been well over five years since the scandal that rocked Calabasas, and by extension, America. Of course, we're talking about the time that Kylie Jenner's ex-BFF Jordyn Woods kissed Khloé Kardashian's then-boyfriend Tristan Thompson.

The sinful act caused Khloé to break up with her baby daddy and Kylie to take her distance from her longtime friendship with Jordyn. But now that time has passed and healed some wounds, fans and foes of the Kardashian crew alike are wondering if Kylie and Jordyn have reconciled their BFF-dom.

After the two were photographed together having dinner sometime around July 2023 and captured visiting Acne Studios in September, fans are convinced their favorite duo is back together. Here's the latest scoop.

Based on the snapshots of Jordyn and Kylie leaving dinner together on July 16, 2023, in Los Angeles, it's safe to say that the former BFFs are on better terms and are now heading down the road to reconciliation. And in that sense, some folks believe that the pair are now friends again.

According to DailyMail.com, the former BFFs were also pictured leaving the restaurant in the same vehicle with Kylie in the driver's seat and Jordyn flashing a smile for the cameras.

Fast forward two months later, they paid a visit to Acne Studios, where Kylie was featured as the face of its FW23 denim campaign. Kylie shared a sneak peek of the luxurious denim collection in a TikTok video. She also captured Jordyn on camera as the girls posed side-by-side for a quick selfie.

After the brief tour of the fashion house, the two girls departed together in the same vehicle. If the July 2023 dinner didn't have us convinced that Kylie and Jordyn are friends, their fashion meet-up definitely does!

In Season 5 of The Kardashians, Kylie delves into her friendship with Jordyn. When the Kylie Cosmetics founder meets with Khloé in Episode 2, she reveals that she bumped into Jordyn at Paris Fashion Week.

When Khloé inquires further, Kylie explains, "It was fun! I think we have, like, a lot more healthy distance in the relationship. Now, it's like, we talk once a month."

"I think what I do love now is that the narrative about us online is also over," the reality TV star continues. Reflecting briefly on their July 2023 dinner, Kylie describes it as a passing moment of interest and expresses gratitude that it no longer overshadows their friendship (or the headlines). "People know that we're cool, and no one's talking about it anymore."

Khloé seems happy to hear this, affirming to Kylie, "I've always told you, like, I never want you to have regrets in life, and I for sure never want you to have regrets with anything that comes to me. I've told you, like, when you were saying that you miss her ... I've never had an issue with you keeping your friendships with anyone."

"I definitely get frustrated [by] the whole narrative about her and I, or her and you, or me and you. And so that is something that I would love behind us all," Khloé admits, to which Kylie responds, "It's an internet-created narrative that doesn't even exist."

In a confessional, Khloé tells the cameras, "They're always pinning the girls against one another, and there's actually no beef. I hate that you have to choose Team Jordyn or Team Kylie — we're not like that 'cause we're just living. We're not, like, thinking that hard about the situation anymore."

In case you need a refresher on what happened in January 2019, Tristan kissed Jordyn at a house party at his residence as she was leaving. Following the unexpected revelation, the entire Kardashian family canceled her on account of it, with Khloé throwing major digs at Jordyn on social media.

"For you and Jordyn, it's like a divorce," said matriarch Kris Jenner, in an episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians at the time. And although Kris and the rest of the fam might have wanted Kylie to cut ties with her live-in best friend, the billionaire was actually "super chill about the situation," according to TMZ.

Interestingly, sources told People in 2019 that Kylie had difficulties with fully cutting Jordyn out of her life.

"Although Kylie was very upset and disgusted by the Tristan situation, she didn't want to make any harsh decisions when it came to Jordyn," a source told the publication. "For a long time, it seemed like Kylie wasn't sure what would happen with their friendship. It was very difficult for Kylie to just cut Jordyn out of her life."

The source continued, "Kylie was devastated at first. Jordyn was her confidant for so long. When Kylie was hiding her pregnancy from the world, Jordyn spent almost every day with her."

However, the source also revealed at the time that Kylie was "still in contact with Jordyn occasionally, but they are never going to be best friends ever again."

Nevertheless, since Jordyn and Kylie have graduated from keeping in contact to running errands together, we can conclude that the pair have been making baby steps regarding their reconciliation.
