Season 1 of The Valley is officially complete, and one outcome that viewers got to see play out somewhat is the separation of Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright. Throughout the season Jax and Brittany struggled with intimacy in their relationship. They wanted to try at having another child but never were able to get to the baby-making process. Needless to say, their marital issues were a focal point of the season.

Whispers about Brittany and Jax's separation began rumbling before the series premiered, but were only vaguely confirmed by Jax. He refused to refer to the separation as nothing more than them taking space for the sake of their marriage. Brittany even addresses this cavalier attitude in the finale, saying that Jax made her look like a liar. Now they are very clearly separated, and Jax was recently seen out with Paige Woolen. But does that confirm that Jax and Paige are dating?

With the two of them being photographed together recently in Los Angeles, many are speculating that Jax and Paige are dating. Prior to the two of them being photographed together, there were many rumors that Jax had cheated on Brittany. The rumor being true wouldn't be surprising, as he has been unfaithful in the past on multiple occasions in his various relationships, including with Brittany.

Despite Jax's insistence that they are not dating, some interesting things have come out since they've been photographed together. Paige has actually been in the Vanderpump Rules circle for a while now. In 2021, Paige was a guest on Scheana Shay's podcast, where she talked about one of the Instagram pages she runs. As an OnlyFans model with a large social media fanbase, Paige got DMs from men who were already in relationships, so she decided to air their dirty laundry for the sake of the sisterhood.

Technically speaking, Jax met Paige's father before he met her. Jax was at a charity golf event with Tom Schwarz when he met Paige's father, who was also playing at the time. After becoming acquainted, it was Paige's father who actually introduced her to Jax, at least according to Scheana, who shared this version of events during an episode of her podcast. Brittany and Jax's marriage was pretty doomed from the start. Jax cheated on her while they were engaged, but they still managed to make it down the aisle. After they had their child, he began to fixate on how much she drank. Jax belittled and demeaned Brittany quite a bit, and accused her of being an alcoholic frequently, even when she was sick without having a drink. She finally stood up for herself when she realized that Jax had no intentions of changing, an action many applaud her for.
